The Gombe State Debt Management Agency
Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning Gombe State came into being in October 2023. The ministry is entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Sourcing and coordination of the activities of all Development Partners that expressed their interest in Gombe State and also serve as entry point for prospective foreign Investors
- Preparation of the State long term development plan.
- Preparation of a robust Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for the State that will be used to supervise all State projects/programs.
- Preparation of annual and supplementary budget for the State and monitoring its implementation and performance.
- Conduct 1 – 4 above with the requisite administrative skills, qualified Staff, offices and needed work tools.

Our Contractors
The Gombe state DMO was established to centrally coordinate the management of the state’s debt. The office works closely with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development and other Offices under the ministry to help ensure a viable and strong economy for the state. Basically, to achieve a level of autonomy and to ensure professionalism in line with international best practice, the Gombe state DMO was established as an Office under the state Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.
It is headed by a Director-General, who is a technocrat and professional in the areas of debt management.
